Description
This digital certification indicates that the individual has completed the Institute of Financial Planning’s Professional Training Course (PT Course) and passed the Institute’s exam. The Professional Training Course and the exam are mandatory requirements in Quebec in obtaining the title of financial planner (F.Pl.). The PT Course provides a comprehensive analysis methodology that allows financial planners to integrate their knowledge and skills in the 7 financial planning areas in a way that addresses their clients' needs.
The individual has developed:
- the ability to exercise their judgment and to communicate complex financial concepts
- the ability to analyze facts using the situational integration framework developed by the Institute to fully integrate the knowledge and skills of the 7 financial planning areas, which means ensuring that all aspects of an individual's or family's financial life are covered
